Merger Officially Completed

Boerse Stuttgart Digital and institutional crypto trading firm Tradias have closed their merger after completing the required ownership approval process. The newly combined company brings together roughly 300 employees and merges custody services with trading operations under one roof. The deal was first announced back in February, when both firms agreed to unify their regulated crypto businesses to better serve banks, brokers, and other financial institutions throughout Europe.

New Structure and Leadership

Going forward, the combined entity will operate under the Boerse Stuttgart Digital name, while Tradias will continue to be used as the brand for trading services.

The unit will offer trading, custody, staking, and tokenization solutions, with headquarters based in both Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Additional offices will be located in Athens, Beirut, Berlin, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, and Ljubljana. Leadership will be shared, with Tradias founder Christopher Beck and Boerse Stuttgart Digital managing director Ulli Spankowski stepping in as co-CEOs.

Strong Institutional Client Base

Boerse Stuttgart Digital already works with major institutions such as DZ Bank, DekaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Société Générale-FORGE, while Tradias serves clients including flatexDEGIRO, dwpbank, and various European government bodies. Tradias also provides trading and market-making support for more than 150 different cryptocurrencies and digital assets. The financial details of the merger were not disclosed.
